Year in Review, 2023

Introduction

It’s been an interesting year, 2023. Whilst we had expected this year to be a little slower than the previous years due to the economic situation around us in Hong Kong, 2023 proved to be another busy year. We’re thrilled to have worked with more diverse industries, whilst continuing the service our core professional services market.

One of our most creative years yet, having completed a range of branding, digital, and campaign projects. In this post we have included an overview of our client engagements from 2023.

CLient Industries

The majority of our clients are within finance and professional service industries. We have a growing DTC (direct-to-consumer) client base.

Project Location

Hong Kong remains our largest client market, with a growing client-base in China. This year we also completed two projects for clients in the USA, and one in Australia.

Project discipline

Whilst the majority of our work falls into brand identity projects, our editorial and digital projects are growing year-on-year.

HKEX

Due to the nature of our work, whether we’re rebranding or working on a brand creation project, there is a ‘normal’ project workflow that will usually last around 3-6 months. HKEX has been a special relationship for us that originally started in 2020 on a small, ad-hoc engagement and has grown into over 70 individual projects over the last three years. We’re thrilled to keep supporting HKEX.

NeoToys

We began the year helping an OEM toy manufacturer, brand and launch three projects. We helped NeoToys undergo a corporate rebrand, created 20 sub-brands and built and launched a 10,000+ SKU e-commerce store. This has been a mammoth project for us, and one we can’t wait to share more.

RBJL

2023 marked RBJL’s 40th anniversary and BrandCraft was engaged by the directors to rebrand the intellectual property law firm. This was a hugely rewarding project, not often do we get to refresh an identity with 40 years of brand equity.
