HIR Studio — Creative

Unifying a unique commercial and residential architecture practice

HIR Studio is an architectural and spatial design agency. Following a period of growth, we were tasked with repositioning the practice and to create an identity which resonates with both corporate and private clients.

HIR Studio creates meaningful and engaging spaces that enrich communities through an innovative, insight-led approach.

The studio works with two types of clients, public spaces and private residences. We were tasked with bringing these two business positions under one identity. Through our strategic approach and interviews with the team, we uncovered three core brand values:

— Community
— Innovation
— Craft-driven

— Improving the lives of local community

— Identifying HIR Studio as a craft-driven practice

The new identity has a function-led aesthetic, based on a grid. Inspired by materiality, geometry and the studio’s critical approach.

— Logo development overview

The new brand is an expression of the brand’s core values. The structural, building-block geometric form illustrates the rigorous, detailed and insightful approach. The highlighted, contrasting ‘S’ illustrates the socially-collaborative approach of engaging local communities in their projects.
